Check out great new music from Kelvin Jones, Lucy Whittaker and Eoin Glackin.
British-Zimbabwean singer Kelvin Jones is a busy boy right now. He’s about to spend the summer performing on the festival circuit and promoting his new single, Lights On. Then he’ll head off on a European tour and gear up for the release of his new album in 2020.
Of his new track, which has been championed by BBC Introducing, Jones says: “It’s about not hiding someone’s past, flaws, or hurts, but seeing them fully and loving them anyway.
“My aim with all my new material is to put something real there, something that people can connect with and be moved by.”
Berlin-based Jones enjoys a high profile in Germany where he fronted a marketing campaign for Ebay.de. He also had a hit there earlier this year after teaming up with German DJ and producer Alle Farben on Only Thing We Know.
British fans can catch him performing at The Islington on 18 November.
When Lucy Whittaker chatted to iSingmag back in 2017 she was still at music college and finding her way in the industry. She spoke of struggling to conform to the super sexy stereotype that often defines women in the music industry and of her determination to carve out a career on her own terms. Fast forward two years and it appears that Whittaker is well on her way.
An appearance at SXSW earlier this year was well received, and her single Curious has been played on BBC Radio 6. DJ Clara Amfo has also been singing her praises. Whittaker’s now back with new music in the form of single Touch, a sexy, catchy little pop number.

Irish singer songwriter Eoin Glackin has fans in high places – his latest tune Eva has been praised by none other than Ed Sheeran himself. Eva, off Glackin’s new album Fires of Innocence is an uplifting foot-stomper that incorporates the Dubliner’s country and rock influences, that were shaped by a childhood listening to Johnny Cash and Meatloaf.
