If you’re heading to Midem – the music industry’s annual three-day networking, deal-making, partying event – then help is at hand to ensure you make the most of the experience.
Every Summer thousands of industry execs, artists and creatives head to the South of France under the guise of “work”. They are of course heading to Midem in Cannes where they invariably catch some rays and make new connections – and sometimes even strike a deal.
This year the event runs from 4 to 7 June. Along with a host of networking opportunities, there will be a conference where industry influencers will talk about the state of the business, an artist development programme and, of course, lots of music showcases.
Midem can be a great opportunity (read one delegate’s take on it HERE), but it can also be a little intimidating.
That’s why the Association of Independent Musicians (AIM) is next month hosting a free seminar, Hacking Midem. The talk on 15 May will explain how to prepare for and maximise your presence at Midem.
At the seminar, Midem’s Javier Lopez will outline the highlights of the conference, key networking opportunities and the live programme. This will be followed by a session where industry professionals give their tips and advice about how to make the most of your time in Cannes. Book your place at Hacking Midem HERE.
AIM has also secured delegate passes for members at a fixed early bird rate of €575 +VAT. So if you haven’t got your ticket yet, CHECK OUT this offer.
