How to get expert advice on funding opportunities

Funding opportunities

Take advantage of Help Musicians UK’s specialist one-to-one advice sessions on funding opportunities.

Do you have a great idea for a music project but no idea who to pitch it to? Or are you brimming with ambition but need a little artist support to help focus your energy?

If you answered yes to either of these questions, then sign up to a special 30-minute one-to-one session with an adviser from Help Musicians UK (HMUK).

From next month the charity’s Creative Programme team will be holding a series of funding advice sessions at 13 venues across the UK. Here they will advise on how to submit an application and give tips on ways to move your creative career forward.

“Funding opportunities have the potential to be career-changing for emerging artists, so it’s important that we’re able to help applicants learn how to make their submission really stand out to the panellists who are deciding what projects should be supported by the charity,” says HMUK Director of Programme Claire Gevaux.

“This is an opportunity that shouldn’t be missed by any musicians thinking about applying for funding.”

The advice series runs from 13 August through to 5 September. To register your interest email creative@helpmusicians.org.uk.
